The NCIDP and proprietary contributors retain all rights to the intellectual property that the NCIDP and its contributors own and present on this website.

Permission is hereby granted to individual real human private persons surviving violence or otherwise asserting the law as discussed here to quote and/or reprint our pages as necessary to that end.

Permission is hereby granted for zero-revenue reprinting (as defined below) of NCIDP web pages so long as:

1) any page (any single URL) reprinted is reprinted and distributed with all content of that page intact and unaltered from beginning to end;

2) the source URL on the NCIDP website for the page reprinted is visible on all pages of the reprint;

3) the home page or appropriate subdirectory URL of the NCIDP website (found in the header of each webpage) is visible on all pages of the reprint;

4) the NCIDP e-mail address (found by clicking the link on our "Contact the NCIDP" page) is visible on all pages of the reprint;

5) the date that the page contents were copied from the NCIDP website for reprint is visible on all pages of the reprint;

6) the statement, "Reprinted by permission of The National Council on Identity Policy (NCIDP)" or "Courtesy of The National Council on Identity Policy" is visible on all pages of the reprint;

7) e-mail notification is provided to the NCIDP by reprinter of any such reprint, including any URL or other location where such reprint is or might become visible to the public;

8) the objection to any such reprint raised by The National Council on Identity Policy will be honored by immediate removal and/or destruction of the reprint;

9) the purpose for such reprint and/or redistribution is in no way commercial or commercialized and is purely for educational or advocacy purposes.

Zero-revenue reprinting is hereby defined as: reprinting for purposes and venues wherein no financial or other compensation is gained by reprinter or any institution or organization or venue wherein such reprint appears or is used or for which the reprinter is an agent or employee in association with, or as a result of, such reprinting; and that no reprint appears in the company of, or with the purported support of, any advertising material or commercial literature of any kind. As a general example, not otherwise constraining the definition above: a public school teacher at a school that does not charge students (or their parents) tuition, fees, or any other form of direct use taxation (including meal fees), and where the school does not advertise for, or host advertising for, any other organization or entity that is engaged in business for-profit, will qualify as a zero-revenue reprinter, and may reprint our content as described above.

Please contact us if you wish to license any NCIDP intellectual property or the contents of this website for purposes or uses other than above.
